Aptos governance proposal No. 206 would hide transaction contents until validators establish their order, a change intended to reduce front-running and other maximal extractable value risks.

The proposal would enable ChunkyDKG V1 in full mode alongside the encrypted_transactions feature. Distributed key generation would support encryption, and validators would work together to decrypt transactions after consensus ordering.

Support is close to 100%, but turnout stands at 2.69%, below the 24.8% quorum requirement. The vote is scheduled to end Oct. 6.
