Hitachi has launched a platform for financial institutions and crypto-related businesses that assesses digital-asset transaction risks before transfers and monitors changes afterward.

The Digital Asset AML Platform covers crypto assets and stablecoins. It also tracks the circulation of stablecoins and other tokens after they are issued.

The service uses artificial intelligence and machine-learning analysis of crime- and sanctions-related information. Hitachi conducted trials with 17 financial and crypto-related organizations.
