Wajo Says Its Fo Agent Uses Human Assistants for Tasks
The company says Fo can make calls, send email and coordinate tasks, bringing in trained executive assistants when needed.

Vinod Khosla said trust is central to AI agents acting for users, as startup Wajo describes how its Fo agent can bring in human assistants to complete tasks.
“I think the most important thing in an agent, because it's acting for you, is trust,” Khosla said.
Wajo was founded by Shivani Poddar, who worked on artificial intelligence at Meta and Google DeepMind. Wajo announced Fo on Aug. 25, 2026, describing it as an agent with its own inbox, phone number, voice and credit card.
Fo can make calls, send email and coordinate with people on tasks such as booking services, ordering food or finding a handyman. Wajo says it can involve trained executive assistants when a task requires human help.
“Trust is something you have to build from the get-go,” Poddar said.
Wajo says Fo uses one-time payment cards and sends email from its own address. The company also says it does not share users’ real card details with merchants.
Wajo says Fo is being used in 107 countries and has grown 10 times. The company has not disclosed a user count, growth baseline or measurement date.
Jeff Dean and Gokul Rajaram have backed Wajo. The amount and terms of that backing were not disclosed.
