NEAR Plans Wider Fiat and Tokenized-Stock Access Through near.com
The platform is combining cross-chain trading, yield products and perpetual contracts while developing bank withdrawals, tax records and selective disclosure.

NEAR co-founder Illia Polosukhin said Oct. 7 that users can complete many crypto activities without centralized exchanges as onchain tools expand, outlining broader plans for near.com’s trading and financial features.
The platform plans to combine cross-chain spot trading, tokenized stocks, yield products and perpetual contracts in one interface. It is also developing bank withdrawals, tax transaction records and selective disclosure for confidential transactions.
NEAR is adding more fiat-related functions through a partnership with Monerium. The arrangement supports conversions between euros held in bank accounts and EURe through an IBAN. The ultimate goal is for NEAR Intents to support exchanges between any asset types.
near.com added tokenized stocks after integrating Ondo Finance in September. The platform plans to offer stocks from more markets worldwide, expanding the range of tokenized equity products available through its interface.
“AI is the front end, blockchain is the back end,” Polosukhin said.
NEAR’s Agent Market extends the intent model to natural-language tasks. Users can describe what they want done, after which the platform finds an agent able to carry out the task. Funds are held in custody and released once the task is completed and verified.
