Meta’s Muse AI agent is now available through a dedicated iPad app, expanding access to a service that can perform tasks across connected accounts roughly one month after its mobile launch.

Muse launched on iOS and Android on Sept. 8 and is also available on the web in the United States. Users can authorize selected services so the agent can manage tasks involving email, meetings, bills, reservations, groceries and purchases.

The iPad release follows Meta’s earlier launch of Muse as an agent designed to complete tasks, including work that goes beyond answering individual questions.

The updated service includes connectors aimed at small businesses, including Asana, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, QuickBooks, GitHub, Klaviyo and Zoom. Notion and Granola are also available, along with connections for Meta ad accounts.

Meta recently announced additional retail partners, including Best Buy, Gap, Sephora, Walmart and Wayfair. Muse can navigate participating retailers and complete transactions for users through those connections.

The technology can encounter access problems when websites mistake personal AI agents for automated bots and block them. Meta is working with industry partners on an open standard intended to let personal AI agents identify themselves to businesses.

The effort would help businesses distinguish authorized personal agents from unwanted automated traffic as these services interact with websites. Muse is currently available in the United States through iPad, iOS, Android and the web.
