Clearpool Holders Approve 97.16% Migration to XRP Ledger CLEAR
The plan targets a fourth-quarter 2026 conversion and will denominate institutional loans in RLUSD rather than XRP.

A 97.16% vote backed Clearpool’s proposed shift of its institutional lending business to the XRP Ledger and the replacement of CPOOL with CLEAR.
The conversion is planned at a one-to-one rate, giving holders one CLEAR for each CPOOL. Clearpool is targeting the migration for the fourth quarter of 2026, but the conversion and XRP Ledger lending launch have not yet been completed.
CLEAR is planned to begin with 1.125 billion tokens in circulation, compared with 1 billion CPOOL tokens listed in Clearpool’s token documentation. Existing holders are allocated 70% of the new supply through the conversion.
The proposal also assigns 50% of protocol fees to open-market CLEAR purchases, with the purchased tokens permanently burned. Institutional loans tied to the XRP Ledger expansion are planned to be issued and repaid in RLUSD, Ripple’s dollar stablecoin, rather than XRP.
Clearpool’s XRP Ledger products are listed as coming soon. The migration and lending launch are the next major steps under the approved plan.
