Nvidia-Backed Upscale AI Launches Token Fabric For Multi-Vendor Chips
The platform combines hardware and software based on Nvidia’s Spectrum-X technology. Its first version is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026, with full deployment before 2027.

Upscale AI, an Nvidia-backed artificial intelligence infrastructure startup, launched Token Fabric to connect processors from different chip suppliers within the same data center.
The platform combines hardware and software, including equipment based on Nvidia’s Spectrum-X technology. It is designed to support communication between AI processors from multiple vendors and help operators connect separate chip clusters.
Upscale AI plans to release the first version in the fourth quarter of 2026. The full platform is expected to roll out in stages before 2027.
The company raised a $190 million extension round in June 2026. Premji Invest, the investment firm of Indian billionaire Azim Premji, led the round, while Nvidia, Salesforce and Singapore-based Temasek participated.
Upscale AI has raised $500 million to date and is valued at about $2 billion.
