Kratos Demonstrates End-to-End 5G Satellite Network Connectivity

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) demonstrated end-to-end connectivity across a 5G non-terrestrial network on Oct. 8, using its OpenSpace satellite ground platform in a multi-vendor test involving KT SAT and other partners.

The demonstration focused on 5G connectivity through satellite-based infrastructure, known as a non-terrestrial network, or NTN.

OpenSpace is Kratos’ satellite ground platform used in the demonstration. The company described the test as an end-to-end connection across the 5G NTN.
