Jupiter Lend reportedly moved ahead of Kamino in deposited assets on Solana, underscoring the close race among the network’s largest lending platforms.

A reported Oct. 6 snapshot put Jupiter Lend’s deposits at $2.604 billion, compared with $2.578 billion for Kamino.

A current data snapshot shows Kamino narrowly ahead in total value locked (TVL), with $1.403 billion versus $1.399 billion for Jupiter. Jupiter led in supplied assets, at $2.428 billion compared with Kamino’s $2.413 billion, and in active loans, at $1.029 billion versus $1.01 billion.

Solana lending protocols collectively held $3.039 billion in TVL in the same current snapshot, placing the two platforms at the center of the network’s lending activity.

Jupiter Lend launched in Aug. 2025 and reached $500 million in TVL within its first 24 hours. In May 2026, Jupiter announced a lending market curated by Bitwise Asset Management for assets associated with Ethena.

Institutional market curation has become another point of competition. Ethena seeded $200 million of USDG in a Kamino market curated by Sentora and another $200 million in a Jupiter Lend market curated by Bitwise.

Project 0’s integration with Jupiter Lend brought its Solana lending-market coverage to 98% of TVL across Jupiter, Kamino, Drift and other venues. The integration connects lending venues through a unified margin system.

“Jupiter is the second largest lending market on Solana, and its user base is deeply embedded in the ecosystem,” said MacBrennan Peet, Project 0 founder.

The ranking between Jupiter and Kamino changes depending on whether deposits, supplied assets, TVL or active loans are measured. The latest figures therefore show a close contest rather than a single undisputed leader.
