Caloroga Media Launches Linnet AI Studio for Browser-Based Podcasting
The private-beta platform combines scripting, recording, editing, video, artwork and publishing in one browser workspace, with 30 days of free Creator access for testers.

Caloroga Media announced Linnet on Sept. 9, a browser-based artificial intelligence production studio that brings podcast creation tools into one workspace for creators.
The private-beta service combines scripting, voice work, music, recording, mixing, editing, video production, artwork and publishing. It was developed from Caloroga’s own production workflow and is designed to reduce the need for separate tools and accounts.
Linnet includes a 24-track audio studio, plug-ins, transcription, multitrack video editing and artwork tools. Creators can publish through their existing podcast host to Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube.
The platform’s AI assistant shows a proposed action and waits for the user’s approval before making changes. A feature called “God Mode” can produce a first episode draft from a single prompt, including a script, narration, music, artwork and video. The output is a draft for further editing, not a finished publication.
“AI shouldn’t replace the person doing the work. It should help them get better at it,” said John McDermott, co-founder of Caloroga Media and Linnet.
Linnet is currently available through a private, invitation-only beta, with testers admitted in batches. Participants receive 30 days of free Creator access during testing. Public subscription pricing and a public launch date have not been announced.
The platform also offers a Bring Your Own Key option, allowing users to connect existing provider accounts. Caloroga says those connections have no Linnet usage caps and are billed directly by the outside provider.
The company says creators’ work is excluded from AI training and that it neither sells customer information nor provides advertisers with users’ voice profiles. Caloroga also says generated content is permanently deleted within 30 days after an account is closed.
Caloroga Media, founded in 2023 by Mark Francis and John McDermott, is a New York-based podcast producer. Its stated catalog includes “Palace Intrigue,” “5 Good News Stories” and “Daily Comedy News with Johnny Mac.”
“Linnet exists because we could not find a tool worthy of the work,” Francis said. The company previously operated as Caloroga Shark Media before adopting the Caloroga Media name in September.
