A Ledger user appears to have lost 7 million USDT, worth about $7 million, in a theft that may represent the largest single loss in an incident involving devices bought through CryptoBillis.

The user, whose address is labeled TY24Ya, purchased the Ledger device about three weeks before depositing the funds. The entire 7 million USDT balance was then stolen roughly 10 hours before Oct. 9 at 11:35 a.m. ET (15:35 UTC).

The incident has affected multiple users who purchased Ledger hardware wallets through the same distributor. Combined losses are nearing $90 million.

The reported loss remains described as potentially the largest single case in the incident.
