NEAR Intents Surpasses $4 Billion in Monthly Volume as Use Grows
Cumulative volume has exceeded $30 billion, while monthly volume rose 896% year over year.

NEAR Intents processed more than $4 billion in volume over the past 30 days, lifting cumulative activity above $30 billion as the cross-chain system expands its role in digital commerce and future artificial intelligence applications.
Monthly volume increased 896% from a year earlier. The system operates across more than 35 blockchains, with solvers completing transactions based on users’ requested outcomes.
The latest activity follows a broader expansion in the system’s transaction base. NEAR Intents has recorded more than $33 billion in swap volume and $53.44 million in total gross fees as of Oct. 7.
The data instead highlight activity in the protocol’s cross-chain infrastructure, where users can route transactions between blockchain networks through intent-based requests.
NEAR Protocol does not currently charge a fee on intent volumes. A 0.3% fee remains a future modeling assumption rather than an existing protocol charge.
The figures add to earlier coverage of NEAR Intents’ operating activity, which described the system as an existing business foundation for longer-term artificial intelligence applications. The longer-term direction depends on adoption of decentralized AI agents and the development of related protocol revenue.
For now, the latest monthly figures show increased activity on NEAR Intents, with transaction routing and cross-chain swaps providing the clearest measure of current use.
