CryptoBilis has suspended sales of all hardware-wallet brands across Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia while cooperating with a Ledger investigation, temporarily closing its physical stores and online channels.

The reseller said it is reviewing its internal processes with help from independent experts and expects to release further information within three business days.

Customers who bought Ledger devices through CryptoBilis but have not yet set them up were told not to activate them. Customers who already configured their devices were instructed to move their assets to a Ledger device using a new recovery phrase.

CryptoBilis said it will contact customers directly about orders that have not been delivered. Users who suffered losses were told to keep the device and its packaging and report the matter to police.

The suspension affects three Southeast Asian markets and places the focus on the supply and distribution chain for hardware wallets while the review continues.
