IREN has signed a multiyear AI cloud-services agreement with Anthropic, expanding the Bitcoin miner-turned-data-center operator’s role in artificial-intelligence infrastructure.
The partnership will give Anthropic access to large-scale GPU computing capacity from IREN. The arrangement is designed to diversify Anthropic’s cloud capacity beyond major providers such as Amazon and Google.
IREN has shifted from Bitcoin mining toward AI data-center operations. The agreement connects IREN’s data-center strategy with Anthropic’s generative-AI business.
The financial value and specific terms of the multiyear deal were not disclosed.
