TRON processed $2.2126 trillion in stablecoin settlement during the third quarter of 2026, extending the network’s growth in transferred value as address activity increased while transaction counts remained broadly unchanged.

Quarterly settlement rose 5.1% from $2.106 trillion in Q2. Average daily settlement increased 3.9% to $24.05 billion, and TRON surpassed $30 trillion in cumulative transaction volume by Sept. 23.

Combined Tether (USDT) and USDD supply on TRON reached $93.88 billion, up 5.5% from Q2 and 14.9% from the third quarter of 2025. Total value locked, including staking, reached $28.21 billion, while decentralized finance TVL excluding staking was $13.05 billion.

Rolling 30-day active addresses increased 9.8% to 18 million from 16.4 million. Reported transaction counts stayed near 1.10 billion for the quarter, leaving the network’s average transaction count broadly stable despite the increase in settlement value.

Network fees totaled $701.4 million during the quarter. Average daily fees declined 4% to $7.62 million, while the average daily transaction fee fell to $0.643 from $0.668 in Q2.

TRON is a delegated proof-of-stake Layer-1 blockchain. TRX holders stake tokens to vote for 27 Super Representatives, which produce blocks and participate in governance. Stablecoin transfers, particularly USDT, remain a central use case.

Canary Capital launched the Canary Staked TRX ETF, ticker TRXS, on Sept. 9. The quarter also brought expanded integrations with Anchorage Digital, Bitnomial, Backpack, Ethena, Ducat, MoonPay, Trust Wallet, Bitcoin.com Wallet, MetaMask, Fireblocks, Eco, STON.fi, KiiChain, Privy and OpenZeppelin.

The milestone leaves TRON entering the fourth quarter with a larger liquidity base and more active addresses, while usage across payments, lending and trading remains a key question.
