Robinhood Chain Records $15 Billion in Stock-Token Trading
The Ethereum Layer 2 has passed 100 days since its July 1, 2026, public mainnet launch, with activity still concentrated among crypto-native users.

Robinhood Chain has recorded $15 billion in stock-token trading as it passes 100 days, highlighting early demand for blockchain-based exposure to individual stocks outside the United States.
The network launched its public mainnet on July 1, 2026, as a permissionless Ethereum Layer 2 built with Arbitrum technology. Users across more than 120 countries can use Robinhood Chain and its Stock Token features where permitted by local regulations. The Stock Tokens are unavailable in the United States and to U.S. persons.
The latest activity adds to growth across the network’s application layer. More than 340,000 tokens had been issued on Robinhood Chain by the end of August, while trading involving meme tokens paired with Robinhood Stock Tokens reached $518 million in volume.
Participation has remained concentrated among crypto-native users, while Robinhood’s broader customer base had not yet migrated onto the network at scale. The network’s performance follows earlier declines in activity documented in Robinhood Chain coverage.
Robinhood plans to keep subsidizing token-swap network fees above 50 cents through Dec. 31 as the network enters its next phase.
