Meta launched two Muse Wonder artificial intelligence models as its U.S.-listed shares closed up 3.38% at $742.96.

The Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full models are intended to support complex tasks such as understanding leases and analyzing financial or health information. Meta said Muse Wonder exceeded Anthropic’s Claude Opus 5.5 and Fable 5.1, as well as OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra, on some technical benchmarks.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the company has caught up to the “frontier” of artificial intelligence. He also said Meta will continue spending heavily on AI development and rejected calls to slow its progress.

The models will be used to improve retention for Meta’s Muse assistant, linking the launch to the company’s broader effort to keep users engaged with its AI products.
