On-Chain Security Incidents Set Monthly Records as AI Agent Risks Rise
Blockaid co-founder Ido Ben-Natan said attacks on blockchain infrastructure are increasing as AI agents gain access to more funds.

On-chain security incidents have reached new monthly records since August, while growing access to funds by artificial-intelligence agents is adding to concerns about blockchain infrastructure.
Ido Ben-Natan, co-founder of Blockaid, said attackers are increasingly targeting on-chain infrastructure because it offers high financial returns. He also said the company is experiencing its busiest period ever as attacks have increased.
The risks could grow as AI agents gain control over more funds. Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik predicts that trading crypto assets through AI agents, rather than manually using interfaces, will become routine by 2028.
The trend places greater emphasis on protecting the systems and wallets that allow AI agents to interact with blockchain networks and move funds.
