Crypto blogger @rrealist said attackers transferred about $760,000 in crypto assets during a violent home robbery in the United Kingdom.

The blogger said attackers restrained the blogger with tape, held three knives near the blogger’s face and made death threats. About $40,000 was moved from a main wallet, while another $720,000 was transferred from a Ledger hardware wallet.

The reported losses exceeded $800,000 after the attackers also took a Rolex watch and damaged the blogger’s phone. The blogger said the injuries were limited to minor bruising.

Police were investigating, and the residence had been secured as a crime scene. The incident highlights the risks crypto holders face when significant assets can be linked to their physical location.
