Payy has opened a 30-day claims process for users affected by a Sept. 24 attack on its Ethereum bridge contract and plans to shut down Payy Wallet after the claims window ends.

The bridge contract was attacked at 4:21 a.m. UTC on Sept. 24, or 12:21 a.m. ET, leaving its balance fully drained. Payy subsequently suspended all Payy Network transactions, including deposits and withdrawals.

Eligible claims will be paid in USDC on Ethereum. Payy Wallet is currently suspended and will be fully shut down once the 30-day claims period ends.

The claims form requires users to submit their Payy Wallet seed phrases. Payy says its privacy architecture means the phrase is needed to verify the balance associated with each wallet.
