DeepSigma opened a public paper-trading demo Oct. 13 for a decentralized perpetual-futures platform covering 77 markets tied to traditional assets, giving users a simulated venue to explore crypto-style trading products linked to U.S. financial markets.

The demo runs on Cypherium’s Layer 1 blockchain and displays a simulated starting balance of $100,000 under a “DEMO · PAPER” label. It includes live price feeds, paper trading, a leaderboard and an AI market-analysis tool.

The listed contracts cover U.S. equities, five major indexes, 11 sector exchange-traded funds, six commodities, four Treasury yields and a 10-year Treasury-note futures contract. The index references include the S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Average, Nasdaq Composite, Russell 2000 and CBOE Volatility Index. Commodity markets include WTI and Brent crude, gold, silver, natural gas and copper.

Perpetual futures do not have expiration dates. They generally allow traders to take long or short positions using margin, creating a structure that differs from conventional futures contracts with fixed settlement dates.

The product also highlights a market-structure problem that does not arise in the same way for crypto assets. U.S. stock and futures markets close overnight, on weekends and on certain holidays, while crypto markets generally trade continuously. The demo is intended to show how perpetual-market products can be structured around assets whose underlying markets operate on fixed schedules.

The public terminal is a demonstration rather than a live real-money exchange. DeepSigma has disclosed neither a date for live trading nor the U.S. regulatory clearances it may pursue.

DeepSigma’s July business whitepaper sets out a phased plan involving a public demo, an incentivized testnet and a mainnet target in the fourth quarter of 2026. The mainnet timing is a company target, not a confirmed launch date.

The launch follows increased activity in decentralized markets tied to traditional assets. RWA perpetual futures recorded $18.8 billion in daily volume during Sept. 3-9.
