A crypto holder in the United Kingdom said attackers restrained him with tape and threatened him with three knives before forcing him to unlock wallets and transfer about $800,000 in digital assets.

The holder said about $40,000 was taken from a hot wallet and about $720,000 from a Ledger hardware wallet. The attackers also took a Rolex watch and destroyed his phone, he said.

He said he suffered multiple bruises but no fatal knife wounds. He also said police were investigating the incident and that his home had become a crime scene.

The holder identified a Solana address beginning “B3pMs3…arCR” as the destination for the stolen funds.

The holder’s social media post drew more than 1.7 million views. He also urged crypto users living in Britain to leave the country after the attack.

The incident illustrates how physical coercion may bypass otherwise strong wallet and blockchain protections when users are forced to unlock wallets or authorize transfers.
