Anza has scheduled Solana’s Alpenglow mainnet upgrade for Oct. 21, with the network change targeting 150-millisecond finality and requiring infrastructure updates before activation.

The upgrade will require validators to make software changes ahead of the switch. Providers that supply and process Solana block data will also need to update their systems.

Alpenglow is designed to deliver 150-millisecond transaction finality.

Validators and block-data providers must complete software updates before the switch. Solana will move to the new upgrade on Oct. 21.
