Ledger found no signs of tampering in hardware wallets held by German retailers and distributors after a user raised concerns about devices at stores in the country. The update addresses whether products available to European customers may have been altered before purchase.

The company’s security team inspected inventory from German retailers and distributors, including products from the stores identified in the user’s report. It also said it had received no reports of financial losses tied to hardware implants anywhere in Europe.

A separate device shown online as potentially abnormal has not been physically examined by the security team. Ledger has invited the person holding it to send the device in so the team can investigate and share its findings.
