MetaMask has launched its self-custodial Agent Wallet on Grok Bot, giving AI agents a way to make on-chain transactions within limits and protocol lists set by users.

The wallet can execute swaps, cross-chain transactions and perpetual-contract trades. Its activity is restricted to user-set limits and a list of supported protocols, allowing agents to operate autonomously within those parameters.

The wallet uses the same security system as MetaMask's existing wallet. Its features include transaction simulation, threat scanning and maximal extractable value (MEV) protection.

Users can set up the wallet through a command-line interface and skill packages. Those tools provide a way to connect it to Claude Code and Cursor.
