Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Says He Would Halt Customer Chip Supply in AI Hypothetical

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the company would stop supplying chips to a customer if it irresponsibly developed unsafe AI software. He described that response as hypothetical and said Nvidia would speak with the customer before taking action.

Huang said Nvidia does not run its customers’ businesses and has limits on judging how they use its general-purpose technology. He also said the current level of concern about AI is not reasonable.
