Bithumb halted deposits and withdrawals for Map Protocol (MAPO) at 11:40 p.m. ET on Oct. 14 (03:40 UTC Oct. 15), after the network stopped producing blocks. Trading on the exchange remains available during the service pause.

The suspension covers MAPO deposits and withdrawals on Bithumb. Customers cannot deposit MAPO to the exchange or withdraw it while those services are paused. Trading remains open, leaving Bithumb’s MAPO market available even as transfers are unavailable. The pause separates access to trading from the deposit and withdrawal services affected by the network halt. For customers, that means MAPO can still be traded on the exchange, but cannot be moved into or out of Bithumb through those services.

Bithumb plans to restore deposits and withdrawals after the Map Protocol network returns to stable operation. The resumption depends on network stability. The exchange also cautioned users about sharp price volatility.
