Amazon Prices Bee’s New AI Devices at $74.99 and $99.99

Amazon’s Bee introduced two personal AI devices Thursday, including a $74.99 wearable and a $99.99 phone attachment designed to turn everyday conversations into summaries, to-dos and insights.

Bee Frontier can be worn on the wrist or pinned to clothing. Bee Eclipse is a credit-card-size accessory that attaches magnetically to a smartphone. The devices can also turn an agreed plan into a calendar invite.

All Bee devices include conversation summaries and recaps with 14 days of memory. Bee Pro costs $11.99 per month and adds unlimited conversation summaries, integrations with Amazon.com, Alexa+ and third-party apps, suggested to-dos, daily memories, a personal chat assistant and conversation templates.

Bee also works with productivity tools such as Gmail, Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. It can draft emails, set up meetings and surface action items. Users can connect Bee to Alexa to ask hands-free for insights, summaries and to-dos. The devices come with a redesigned mobile app and a new desktop app.

Bee’s privacy architecture processes audio in real time and deletes it rather than storing raw recordings. Transcripts are encrypted using keys created and controlled by each device. No one else, including Amazon employees, can access those files unless a user manually shares them.

Frontier offers up to seven days of battery life, IP67 water resistance, USB-C charging and dual microphones with noise filtering. Both devices have one button for power and an indicator light that turns on while a conversation is being summarized.

Frontier is available now on Amazon.com. Eclipse is expected to become available soon.
