Nillion plans to shut down its Layer 2 network and is urging users who hold NIL tokens or Ether (ETH) there to transfer those assets to Ethereum’s main network before operations end.

The instruction applies to both assets on Nillion’s L2: NIL and ETH. It names Ethereum Layer 1, or mainnet, as the destination. Users are being asked to make the move before Nillion’s network stops operating.

The planned shutdown is upcoming, not described as complete. The transfer request is part of the run-up to the closure: Nillion’s L2 is the source network, while Ethereum mainnet is the stated destination. The notice focuses on moving both named assets off Nillion’s network before it goes offline.
