NEAR Protocol has expanded its Multi-Party Computation (MPC) network to 17 live mainnet operators, adding a standing, token-holder-governed funding program to support the signing infrastructure behind NEAR Intents.

The program is funded by protocol emissions, and NEAR token holders govern how it operates. The network provides Chain Signatures, which underpin NEAR Intents and support its signing infrastructure over the long term.

The 17-operator roster includes @astrostakers and @auroraisnear. The standing program is intended to provide ongoing support for the infrastructure.
