Metis Andromeda Sets Oct. 23 Deadline to End Stargate Support

Metis Andromeda will end support for Stargate on Oct. 23, setting a deadline for liquidity providers and users of LayerZero V1 routes to move funds before the change takes effect.

Stargate liquidity providers on Metis must unstake and withdraw their liquidity by Oct. 23. METIS, HERA, QI and MTVT bridged to other networks through LayerZero V1 must be bridged back to Metis Andromeda by the same date. LayerZero V1 routes should stop being used before the deadline.

LayerZero Labs will stop providing DVN and Executor services for Metis on Oct. 30. Stargate V1 pools across all chains are scheduled to close Dec. 15. LayerZero V2 routes using the new DVN and Executor will connect Metis only with Ethereum, BNB Chain and GOAT Network.

Holders of m.USDC, m.USDT, WETH or METIS issued through Metis’ official cross-chain bridge do not need to take action. The official bridge between Ethereum and Metis will remain unaffected.
