Pi Network’s Oct. 15 summit announcement listed more than 300 Mainnet apps but provided no app-by-app usage figures. The announcement also listed more than 60 million Engaged Pioneers, more than 18.1 million fully KYC’d users and more than 420,000 nodes. Those figures describe separate parts of the network and do not count users or activity for any individual app.

The app total alone does not establish that the apps are regularly used or can process payments. The summit announcement gave no app-level counts for active users, repeat visits, payments or transaction value. It also provided no measurement cutoff or period for the ecosystem figures, so they do not give a dated snapshot of app use.

Launching an app on Mainnet and receiving approval to accept payments are separate steps. Developers apply for an incoming multisignature wallet to receive user payments. App-to-user payments are available only to Testnet apps and selected Mainnet apps. Registration, payment capability and actual use therefore measure different things.

The Ecosystem Interface lists Mainnet and Testnet apps. Its Mainnet app list omits some apps already on Mainnet and some that are Mainnet-ready, so the visible list cannot serve as a complete inventory.

A March 2026 activity example covered one app: 1,094,680 people completed 526,970,631 tasks, with compensation paid in Pi through the blockchain. Four App Studio apps also received invitations to transition to Mainnet and integrate live Pi payments. The invitations do not establish that those transitions were completed, and the activity figure for one app does not show how many of the 300-plus apps have users.

Pi’s first Ecosystem Summit is scheduled online for Nov. 17–19. The program includes developer demonstrations, app showcases and platform updates, with a hackathon announcement planned.
