Former SKALE Labs CTO Seeks Three New Foundation Board Seats
Stan Kladko left his CTO and board director roles at SKALE Labs but remains on the SKALE Foundation board.

Former SKALE Labs CTO Stan Kladko has formally proposed adding three seats to the SKALE Foundation board, arguing engineers should help guide decisions on the protocol’s roadmap, grants and network economics.
Kladko co-founded SKALE Labs in 2017. He has left his CTO role and board director position at the company, but remains a member of the SKALE Foundation board.
Kladko said the foundation board currently has no builders. He argued that engineers who develop, debug and maintain the network understand what is technically feasible and should take part in setting its long-term direction. He pointed to Ethereum and Cosmos as examples of protocols where engineers participate in those discussions.
The proposal calls for three new board members with deep software and protocol engineering backgrounds. Kladko said he had formally submitted it to the foundation. He urged validators, delegators, application teams and tokenholders who favor builder involvement in governance to speak publicly, and said he would share updates when possible.
