Archer Aviation Flies Midnight Air Taxi Over San Francisco Bay

The all-electric aircraft reached 131 mph and used Oakland International Airport for takeoffs and landings.

Archer Aviation put its all-electric Midnight air taxi through multiple flights above San Francisco Bay, using Oakland International Airport for takeoffs and landings during the California portion of its “No Roads” tour.

Midnight reached 131 mph during the flights. The aircraft is designed for electric vertical takeoff and landing, known as eVTOL.
