SecondFi Recovery Tool Moves More Than 100 Million ADA, 22 Million NIGHT
The tool opened Oct. 7 for affected users. SecondFi plans to automate processing of remaining eligible requests.

More than 100 million Cardano (ADA) tokens and 22 million Midnight (NIGHT) tokens have moved to destination addresses through SecondFi's recovery tool, and the company plans to automate remaining eligible requests.
The Cardano wallet provider opened the tool on Oct. 7 for affected users.
The figures cover transfers completed through recovery requests. They are not a measure of all losses from the incident: Eligibility and amounts depend on incident records, wallet snapshots and the recovery terms. The program does not cover every asset or loss associated with an affected wallet.
Allocations from the NIGHT airdrop remain tied to the original wallets, even when other eligible assets are sent to new addresses. Recovery of holdings in external decentralized finance protocols depends on the individual protocol.
SecondFi plans to use a recovery smart contract to process remaining eligible requests automatically in the coming days. The change is intended to speed up requests still pending.
