Cysic’s mainnet remains operational while its cross-chain bridge stays paused after a security incident. The Cosmos explorer is temporarily unavailable, and Cysic is working to restore access.

The update follows an attack that led to the unauthorized minting of 10 million CYS on BNB Chain. Cysic's bridge moves CYS between its mainnet and other networks. The incident affected the bridge's message-processing and token-minting functions; the mainnet and assets already held in user wallets were not affected.

About 2.8 million of the minted tokens were locked at an address. Cysic applied an onchain blacklist to block transfers from that address and engaged a security firm to investigate the attack path and trace token movements.

Funds tied to pending bridge transactions remain safely in the bridge contract, and Cysic plans to process them once the bridge is safe to resume. The Cosmos explorer remains temporarily unavailable while Cysic works to restore access.
