Wallets linked to the Drift Protocol attack sent at least 13,400 Ether (ETH), worth about $32 million, to Tornado Cash on Oct. 20, renewing fund movements after months of inactivity and making the transfers harder to trace.

The deposits moved attack-linked funds into a mixing protocol that can obscure their subsequent path. The observed transfers totaled at least 13,400 ETH, valued at about $32 million; that estimate does not measure the attack’s total losses or the wallets’ remaining holdings.

At the time of the tally, tracked wallets still held about $224.59 million in assets. That included approximately 93,965 ETH valued at $224.04 million. The remaining ETH balance was much larger than the amount moved in the latest observed round, leaving most of the assets visible in those wallets.

The transfers followed an earlier round in late July, when related wallets sent about $44.4 million in ETH to Tornado Cash. The Oct. 20 deposits mark renewed activity from wallets tied to the same attack after the intervening lull.
