Revolut’s card payments, transfers and ATM withdrawals have recovered after a Google Cloud outage disrupted the financial app Tuesday, leaving some customers unable to use core services.

At 6:46 a.m. ET (10:46 UTC) on Oct. 20, Revolut’s U.S. status page showed 28 services as partially unavailable. They included cryptocurrency services, sign-in, bank card top-ups and business payments, alongside card payments, transfers and withdrawals. The page now lists all systems as operational.

Revolut told customers their money and data were safe. The company linked the interruption to Google Cloud and later confirmed its services had been restored.

The Google Cloud outage in the London region ran from 2:08 a.m. ET (06:08 UTC) to 10 a.m. ET (14:00 UTC). A power event in one zone disrupted multiple cloud services and caused intermittent network problems elsewhere in the region. The incident lasted seven hours and 52 minutes.

Revolut expanded its Google Cloud partnership in September 2025 to support its global systems.
