A hacker group called FulcrumSec claims it stole about 10.6 terabytes of data from PingCAP's TiDB Cloud, including records tied to Bitget, putting crypto customer information in focus.

FulcrumSec put the alleged dataset at about 4.9 million files and said its first public release totaled about 200 GB. It described several categories: records for roughly 180,000 customer organizations, more than 110,000 sets of customer API keys, database connection logs, internal source code and customer business materials.

The customer names FulcrumSec listed include Bitget, Pionex, Chainbase and NFTScan. TiDB Cloud is a distributed database service operated by PingCAP, the company whose platform is at the center of the claim.

Bitget said it had stored only publicly viewable trade logs on TiDB Cloud and stopped using the service more than two months ago. The exchange said no user data, passwords or other sensitive information was exposed. That response covered Bitget's own data and service use.
