Revolut restored its U.S. payments, transfers, ATM withdrawals and cryptocurrency services after a Google Cloud outage disrupted customers in several countries Oct. 20, while assuring them their money and data were safe.

Customers in the United Kingdom, France, Spain and the United States encountered interruptions. At 6:46 a.m. ET (10:46 UTC), Revolut’s U.S. status page listed 28 services as partially unavailable.

“We can confirm that all our customers’ money and data are safe,” Revolut told customers. The company later confirmed that services had been restored. Its U.S. status page now shows all systems operational, including cryptocurrency.

A power event affected Google Cloud’s London region from 2:08 a.m. to 10 a.m. ET (06:08–14:00 UTC), lasting seven hours and 52 minutes. That period describes the cloud incident; Revolut did not give a separate recovery time for each service.

Revolut expanded its Google Cloud partnership in September 2025 to support its global systems.
