LayerZero plans to launch its Zero mainnet and lzATLAS exchange engine on Nov. 30, with more than a dozen trading venues expected to use Open ATLAS when it goes live.

The joint rollout would make ATLAS the first application on Zero. Trading venues would provide their own customer-facing apps, while ATLAS would handle order matching, clearing, settlement and risk management behind them.

LayerZero plans to provision ATLAS for 200,000 transactions per second at launch. That figure is planned capacity for the engine, rather than throughput measured on the mainnet.

Under the announced fee model, trading venues would receive rebates before the remaining fees are divided. Of that remainder, 75% would fund purchases and burns of LayerZero (ZRO) tokens, while 25% would go to market creators, which define the assets available for trading.

LayerZero introduced ATLAS in August as infrastructure for open and institutional markets. Its scheduled Nov. 30 deployment would bring the engine and the Zero mainnet online together.
