Sophon plans to shut down Sophon Chain, its Ethereum layer-2 network, on Nov. 30, giving holders until Nov. 25 to move assets.

Assets left on the chain after the earlier deadline may become permanently inaccessible. The withdrawal warning covers Sophon (SOPH), Ether (ETH), USDC and other assets held on the network. Holders have also been asked to claim outstanding rewards.

The two dates serve different purposes: Nov. 25 is the deadline for moving assets, while Nov. 30 is the planned final mainnet shutdown.

Sophon decided in June to retire its standalone chain and focus on consumer finance and artificial intelligence applications on Base. Its earlier guidance had expected the chain to remain live at least through the end of 2026, before the shutdown timetable and asset warning were set.

The next date for holders is the Nov. 25 withdrawal deadline.
