Offchain Executive Cites Interest in Tokenized Assets on Arbitrum
An Oct. 19 snapshot listed 138.4 million tokens from one euro fund share class on Arbitrum One, compared with 56.4 million on Ethereum.

Offchain’s chief strategy officer described interest in issuing tokenized assets and developing decentralized finance tools on Arbitrum, an Ethereum scaling network already used for some tokenized financial products.
The comments concerned interest in development, rather than a specific product launch or a measured increase in issuance. Arbitrum is designed to process transactions faster and at lower cost than Ethereum.
An Oct. 19 snapshot of the Spiko Amundi Overnight Swap Fund’s euro share class listed 138.4 million tokens registered on Arbitrum One and 56.4 million on Ethereum. The comparison covers one share class on two networks at a single point in time.
Other existing uses include xStocks tokens representing equities and exchange-traded funds. The tokens are issued on multiple supported blockchains, including Arbitrum. Enso provides transaction-routing and decentralized finance tools for applications integrating tokenized assets.
