China has upgraded its digital yuan infrastructure, unveiling a central bank-side digital yuan system and a smart contract framework.

China’s digital yuan operations center unveiled DCEPS on Wednesday. The center also introduced e-CNY SMART Contract, a framework for the digital yuan’s smart contract ecosystem.
