Funds tied to an institutional entity’s suspected $2.84 million loss on BNB Smart Chain on Oct. 8 moved through Tornado Cash to Tron in later transfers.

On Oct. 20, the suspected attacker deposited 1,111.2 Ether (ETH) into Tornado Cash, 12 days after the suspected loss. Withdrawals went to three Ethereum addresses before the funds moved across networks.

The funds crossed from Ethereum to Tron through USDT0 and converged at two addresses: TEvUsnwXvprdvB7eNGiqh6rDiMqFiC8TBU and TVxzjnx3GPDTciiuagXPaUbU5f5y13Voux. That route places the later transfers on Ethereum and Tron after the suspected theft on BNB Smart Chain.

The Oct. 20 transfers show how funds tied to the Oct. 8 incident moved after the suspected loss.
