Flop Plan Sets Aside 3.6 Billion FLOP for Testnet Participants

The draft assigns another 800 million FLOP to an ecosystem reserve. Participant balances are planned to be credited at mainnet genesis in Q1 2027, subject to role-specific restrictions.

Flop Labs' draft token plan assigns 3.6 billion FLOP to miners, validators and AI agents participating in its planned testnet, detailing the participant share of a larger genesis allocation.

The allocation totals 4.4 billion FLOP, or 24.3% of projected supply in year 10. The remaining 800 million FLOP is designated for an ecosystem reserve.

Testnet participation determines eligibility for the participant airdrops. Validator awards depend on testnet ranking, with a fixed amount assigned to each selected validator.

Flop Labs plans a testnet lasting about 90 days, followed by a mainnet launch in Q1 2027. Participant balances are planned to be entered at genesis, but role-specific restrictions will affect when they become liquid.

The proposed network would let AI agents buy computing capacity from GPU providers, a focus of earlier coverage of Flop's AI-computing network. The project's draft schedule places mainnet launch in the first quarter of 2027.
