Fhenix Launches CoFHE Privacy Coprocessor on Ethereum and Arbitrum
The system runs encrypted computations off-chain for Solidity applications. Mainnet deployments require Fhenix approval.

Fhenix has launched CoFHE on Ethereum and Arbitrum, enabling encrypted computations for Solidity smart contracts while data remains encrypted during off-chain processing.
CoFHE uses fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), which lets computations run on data without decrypting it first. The work takes place off-chain, alongside smart-contract applications written in Solidity.
Fhenix’s Dual Mode feature lets a token switch between public and confidential modes without creating a separate privacy token. The design is intended to keep liquidity within one asset rather than split it between separate versions.
Fhenix named Obolos and Alpha Engine as design partners. It described Obolos as developing onchain equity, options and financing instruments with onchain know-your-customer checks, accredited-investor verification and transfer restrictions. Fhenix described Alpha Engine as a network where traders and AI agents can submit private strategies for confidential evaluation.
The initial mainnet rollout is limited to approved applications. Applicants need Fhenix team approval and an active social media account before they can be added to the deployment whitelist. Developers seeking access can test applications on Ethereum Sepolia, Arbitrum Sepolia and Base Sepolia.
