IREN has secured the licenses required to start construction of a 300-megawatt artificial intelligence data center in Badajoz, Spain, with operations targeted for 2028.

The milestone advances IREN’s previously announced 300-MW campus plan. The company is targeting 2028 for the facility to begin operating.
