Polygon’s 0xMiden project entered its mainnet countdown by Oct. 21, advancing plans to connect the non-EVM chain to Agglayer and broaden its access to liquidity.

The planned connection is intended to make 0xMiden the first non-EVM chain linked to the network. The initiative also aims to improve liquidity access for other non-EVM chains and support developer participation.

The mainnet effort extends Polygon’s work into non-EVM infrastructure. Its stated goals include attracting developers and liquidity providers through the planned Agglayer link.
