0xbow has expanded Privacy Pools with private payments, swaps and lending yield, adding more ways to use funds held in shielded pools as the v2 upgrade goes live across seven networks.

The networks are Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, OP Mainnet, BNB Chain, Robinhood Chain and Citrea. Users can send payments to EVM addresses while the pool conceals the sender, recipient and amount from outside observers. They can also request money with a shareable link, without exchanging wallet addresses.

Pooled deposits can earn lending yield through Aave while staying in the privacy pool. Swaps run through LI.FI, allowing users to trade within the pool and withdraw a different token or move funds to another blockchain network.

Deposits must pass screening by 0xbow’s Association Set Provider (ASP) before they can be used privately. The provider can later revoke approval. Privacy Pools does not require know-your-customer checks or a viewing key, and users can exit publicly without asking permission.

Wallets and payment apps can integrate the features through 0xbow’s software development kit. A Rust SDK is due in Q4. Kohaku, the Ethereum Foundation’s wallet privacy initiative, is also integrating the protocol; Ambire is among the early wallet participants.
